Project Summary
Climate shocks are impacting food systems, contributing to rising food insecurity. A transition is needed to resilient, sustainable, healthy and equitable food systems at multiple scales, including within city regions. But what governance opportunities and mechanisms can support food system transformation at city-region scale? How can local governments and other food system actors collaborate to promote food system transformation within city regions?
The Foodprint Melbourne research team seeks a graduate researcher to investigate effective regional governance within city-region food systems. This PhD position is attached to the FLOW Partnership and will be supervised by Dr. Rachel Carey and Dr. Maureen Murphy.
Applicants are automatically considered for a range of scholarships, however some other scholarships require a standalone application.
