The Participatory Food Systems Governance (PFG) team out of Lakehead University’s Sustainable Food Systems Lab recently announced the release of their latest report, “Understanding Food Systems Governance in a Changing World: The Canadian Food Policy Advisory Council.” In conducting this research, the PFG team spoke with inaugural members of the Canadian Food Policy Advisory Council and drew on written feedback from government staff about our preliminary research findings. The report aims to better understand the Council’s development, functioning, potential value and impact.
