The Center for the Development and Education of Traditional Erva-Mate Systems—CEDErva—is a collaborative network of people who have an interest in the production and development of traditional erva-mate cultivation. A key regional partner for FLOW’s Southern Brazil team, CEDErva recently launched the podcast, “Vozes do Mate” (voices of mate), which dives into the agroecological practices of erva-mate production. Each episode explores a distinct theme, from the cultural importance of erva-mate in rural communities to the politics of agroecology. The podcast is in Portuguese, but through YouTube’s auto-generated caption feature, you can follow along the conversation in English or your preferred language.
